Maryann Brandon
Maryann Brandon (born before 1980) is an American film editor and a member of the American Cinema Editors .
Life
Brandon gained his first experience as an assistant editor in the 1980s. She has been an independent editor since the late 1980s. So far she has been nominated twice for an Eddie Award from the American Cinema Editors and once for an Emmy . From 2001 to 2005 she was involved in more than 25 episodes of the series Alias - The Agent . In the series, she directed two episodes for the first time. She first worked with JJ Abrams at Alias . In 2006, Mission: Impossible III was followed by their first joint film production, since then Brandon has been for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), often together with her colleague Mary Jo Markey , for responsible for editing the majority of his films.
