The Cauron is a river in southeastern France that runs in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises in the municipal area of Nans-les-Pins , on the northeast flank of the Chaîne de la Sainte-Baume mountain range , generally drains in a north-easterly direction and, after 35 kilometers, flows into the Argens as a right tributary in the municipal area of Bras .
