Cecil Boden Kloss
Cecil Boden Kloss (born March 28, 1877 in Acocks Green , Warwickshire , † August 19, 1949 in Chichester , Sussex ) was an English zoologist. His specialty were the mammals and birds of Southeast Asia.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Kloss accompanied the American natural scientist William Louis Abbott on an expedition to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During the years 1912/1913 Kloss took part as a zoologist on an expedition to New Guinea led by the medic and explorer Sandy Wollaston . Starting from 1908 he worked under Herbert Christopher Robinson at the museum in Kuala Lumpur . From 1923 to 1932 he was director of the Raffles Museum in Singapore. His successor in this office was Frederick Nutter Chasen .
