Celeste Boureille (born April 20, 1994 in San Francisco , California ) is an American football player .

Career

societies

During her studies at the University of California, Berkeley , Boureille played for their university team, the California Golden Bears , from 2012 to 2015 , and in 2014 she was part of the Icelandic first division club UMF Selfoss . In the summer of 2015, she played twelve games in the USL W-League for the Colorado Rush franchise . Before the 2016 season , Boureille signed with NWSL participant Portland Thorns FC , with whom she won the championship in 2017. In the free months at the turn of the year 2016/17 and 2017/18, she played on loan in the Australian W-League for Canberra United and Brisbane Roar .

National team

Boureille was appointed to the US U-23 team for the first time in March 2017 for the six-nation tournament in La Manga and played three games in the tournament, two of them as a substitute.
