Caitlin Jade Foord (born November 11, 1994 in Shellharbour ) is an Australian soccer player who has been with Arsenal Women FC since 2020 and has played for Australia since 2011 .

Career

Foord began her career at Illawarra Sports High School and played for the New South Wales Institute of Sport team in the 2008-09 season . In the 2009/10 season Foord made his debut for the Central Coast Mariners in the W-League . After the team was disbanded at the end of the season, they moved to Sydney FC . In March 2013, after winning the Australian Championship, she moved to the US National Women's Soccer League for Sky Blue FC and returned to Sydney on loan for the 2013/14 season. She spent her free time in the United States both in late 2014 and in the 2015/16 season with the Australian first division club Perth Glory . After returning to Australia with Sydney FC and in the USA with Portland Thorns FC, Foord has been under contract with Arsenal Women FC since 2020 .

International

On May 12, 2011 Foord made his debut in a friendly against New Zealand in the Australian national team . She took part in the 2011 World Cup in Germany , where the Australian team was eliminated in the quarter-finals. Foord was awarded the first prize for the best young player of the tournament. In October 2011 she was named U-20 Player of the Year by the Australian Football Association.
