The Certosa della Trinità ( Carthusian monastery of the Trinity ) is a nunnery of the contemplative Carthusian order near Dego in the province of Savona in Italy .
The monastery is one of three existing Carthusian monasteries in Italy and the only monastery in the country for nuns .
history
The Charterhouse was built from 1994 to house nuns who came from the Charterhouse of Giaveno (closed in 1994) and Vedana (closed in 2014). The monastery, located in the remote district of Cà Bulin , was consecrated in 1996 and still exists today.
