Cesar Raval

Cesar Castro Raval SVD (born December 17, 1924 in Laoag ; † January 30, 2017 ) was a Filipino religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Bangued .

Life

Cesar Castro Raval was ordained a priest on May 22, 1952 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on December 15, 1981 auxiliary bishop in Bangued and titular bishop of Cerbali . The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him episcopal ordination on February 18 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Francisco Raval Cruces , Archbishop of Zamboanga , and Odilo Etspueler SVD, Prelate of Bangued.

On November 25, 1988, he was appointed Bishop of Bangued. On January 18, 1992, John Paul II accepted his resignation due to health reasons.
