Chaos is the ninth studio album by German rock musician Herbert Grönemeyer . It was released by EMI Music in 1993.

Even after Chaos , Grönemeyer followed his tried and tested mixture of love ballads or songs for his children ( Morgenrot ) and political themes ( Die Härt - an anti-Nazi song - or Greenland ). After the lead single Chaos , Fisch im Netz and the ballad Land were also released. This time, the artistic design of the album was taken over by star photographer Anton Corbijn . The music on Chaos has been described as being quite guitar heavy.
