This discography is an overview of the musical works of the German pop-rock - musician Herbert Grönemeyer . According to the sources and record awards, he has sold more than 20.2 million records in his career, including over 18 million in his home country alone - more than any other artist in Germany since 1975. Grönemeyer's most commercially successful release is his eleventh studio album Mensch mit around 3.6 million units sold. The album sold over 3.15 million times in Germany alone, making it the best-selling album in Germany since 1975. A total of five of his albums achieved million seller status in his home country . In addition, his video albums Mensch - Live and Stand der Dinge are among the best-selling video albums in Germany, with over 300,000 and 200,000 units sold respectively . Grönemeyer's planes in the stomach was reinterpreted by Oli. P to the number one hit in all DA-CH countries. In Germany, the single was awarded a triple platinum record for over 1.5 million units sold. This makes Flugzeug im Bauch the best-selling German-language single in Germany since 1975 .
