Chaos Beyond is a five-piece melodic metalcore band from Vienna , Austria .
history
Martin Lucny (guitar) and Martin Prohaska (drums) founded their first band together in 2006. After several changes of name and line-up, they formed the band Chaos Beyond in 2009 together with Nino Juric (bass), Stephan Kutscher (guitar) and singer Robert Stefan. After a tour in the opening act of Cataract , they took part in the Austrian band contest Metalchamp in 2010 and finished second behind Devastating Enemy . Terrasound Records, who promised the winner of the competition a record deal, signed the runner-up. The band then recorded their debut album Confessions of a Twisted Mind , which was released in April 2011.
In May 2011, her first music video for My Sacrifice came out, which was seen several times on television. With the turn of the year 2011/2012 Robert Stefan left the band. After an intensive search, Mike Kaos was found, who can also be seen in the second video for Crawling in the Dark, which was released in May 2012 . After several concerts with this line-up, the next studio visit was due in winter 2012. The recordings for the second album The Drawing Board lasted until 2013. Like the previous videos, the video for #oneclickaway was released in May 2013. The accompanying album The Drawing Board was released on June 14, 2013. The second album had already become a bestseller by the Austrian distributor Hoanzl before it was released .
A year later the band was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award , which is considered the most important music award in Austria, in the category "Rock & Hard'n'Heavy".
