Charles Darwin Cooper (born August 11, 1926 in San Francisco , California - † November 29, 2013 in Los Angeles , California) was an American actor who played a wide variety of roles in television and cinema from 1950 to 2001 .

life and career

Cooper was born in San Francisco on August 11, 1926. He got his first acting experience at the age of 15 in a Hamlet stage production in San Francisco.

Television and cinema

He made his film debut in 1950 in Mr. HC Andersen at the side of Ashley Glynne and Dafydd Havard . This was followed in the 1950s almost exclusively series appearances, including in Alfred Hitchcock Presents , Smoking Colts and Bonanza .
