Charles Southwood

Charles Southwood (born August 30, 1937 in Los Angeles , California - † April 8, 2009 in Grants Pass , Oregon ) was an American actor .

Life

Southwood moved with his family to Oregon in 1945 and attended Oregon State University , where he received a degree in philosophy. After completing his studies, he traveled to Lyon , where he first worked as a dock worker and later, after his marriage, as an insurance agent for three years.

In 1966 he was hired as a body double for Lex Barker and got roles for French television as well as in international films, mostly Italian spaghetti westerns or French crime films . At the end of the 1970s, he retired from the film business and founded the company " Death Tobacco " in the north-west of the USA, which sells cigarettes under the brand "Death" and which he chaired for many years.
