Charlott Daudert

Charlott Daudert , actually Charlotte Irma Martha Amalie Daudert , married Daudert-Burgess (born December 27, 1913 in Koenigsberg , East Prussia , † January 19, 1961 in Monte Carlo , Monaco ), was a German actress .

Life

The daughter of a doctor grew up in Koenigsberg , East Prussia . She graduated from high school and attended business school, after which she was the editor of a newspaper, where she took over the children's section as "Aunt Charlotte". She later worked as a fashion illustrator. By chance she came to the theater in Königsberg, where she was discovered by Max Pallenberg . Daudert came to Berlin via Tilsit and appeared in Werner Finck's cabaret Die Katakombe . From 1934 until her death she made 70 films. In the 1950 film comedy The Night Without Sin , she played a leading role as a sophisticated young woman.

In 1960 she wanted to open an artists' pension in Monte Carlo, but died on January 19, 1961 of a blood disease.

Her mother was Wilhelmine Daudert. Her sister is Erika Pahlke geb. Daudert.

It is unclear whether Charlotte Daudert-Burgess was still married to the British citizen George Nether Burgess at the time of her death and was a British citizen through this marriage.
