Chefdenker is a German-speaking punk band from Cologne . It was founded in 2002 by Claus Lüer (Johnny Colognesome), front man of the band beinfabrik , and is known within the punk scene in the entire German-speaking area.

history

In addition to constant tours through clubs throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the chief thinkers have already played several times at major punk festivals, including the Force Attack , Punk im Pott and Ruhrpott Rodeo festivals , which count or counted several thousand visitors a year.

In 2008 the Chefdenker members released the album Der liebe Gott sucht alles aus, as well as the album Mach mir die Schere! Without their singer under the name Blinker Links . , which they realized in 2007 under the name Exit East.

Since 2010 "Caddolf", ex-drummer of the band The Wohlstandskinder , is now the drummer at Chefdenker, who already recorded some songs on the album Roman four .

The Kollege has also been playing at Drei Bottles since 2012 .

In 2016 the CD / LP Eigenuran was released, which can be seen as a concept album on the topic of canned beer . Beginning with a four-part 24 hour drinking workout , almost all of the 19 songs are about the consumption and aesthetics of beer from tin cans .

style

Musically, the band mixes punk with melodic rock and metal elements, accompanied by the singer's characteristic voice. In terms of content, one deals provocatively with everyday topics.
