Three bottles is a German-speaking punk band from Berlin .

history

Founded in 1995 as a pure fun project under the name Three Bottles in'na Plastic Bag , the three Berliners were invited to support The Exploited after their first concert .

In June 1997 her first self-produced album was released ... with Sossää?!? in Europe and, with the support of Lifestyle Records, a few months later in Canada, where it was able to place in college radio charts, as well as in the USA. At the record release party in the Berlin drugstore, among other things, the Beatsteaks also played in the opening act for Three Bottles.

In 1998 the band released the EP Me And My Sk8board , and the band's live energy was recorded for the first time on a total of 12 live bonus tracks.

At the same time as the publication, the mainstream media became aware of the band - the Berlin TV station FAB dedicated a half-hour special to the band, the three bottles, which have now grown into a quintet, appeared in the VIVA show Viva Family , moderated by Enie van de Meiklokjes and Nadine Krüger On and on the Berlin radio station Fritz, well-known Die-Ärzte drummer Bela B. in a show in which Die Ärzte play their favorite music: "Three bottles are my favorite band".

In autumn 1999 the album Kaisers Of Metal was released , at the end of 2001 the album Die Rebellion steckt im Detail and in May 2002 the split CD punk rock Globalizado with the Argentinean ska punk rock band Argies . These albums were each distributed through the company Zomba Records .

Various tours and line-up changes followed, so that the May 1st vinyl EP, produced by Harris Johns (also produced Slipknot , Sepultura , Einstürzende Neubauten and many others), was released in 2005 .

Three bottles were best known for their intense and international live presence, the band toured in Germany , Austria , Switzerland , Italy , Holland , Denmark , the Czech Republic , Australia , New Zealand , the USA , Argentina , Brazil and South Africa .

The band played their farewell concert on January 27, 2007 at Berlin White Trash, and their DVD This Cannot Be the Truth was released on the same day .

In 2010 Three Bottles played two concerts on the occasion of their 15th anniversary.

In 2012 there was a reunion as new band members: Carolita Curare ( diva collective ) on drums and The Kollege ( chief thinker ) on solo guitar.

In 1995, the band founded their own label called Celebration Mettel Records , on which, in addition to all the publications of the Three Bottles, albums by the pants- shit from the planet Grüne Grütze , Lowchainz , Argies , Banda Bassotti , Delikat , Boikot and Brutal Polka were and are published.
