Cheri-cheped-Kenmut was the ancient Egyptian name of a dean who only included the star Denebola as Baktiu .

In Book of Nut Cheri-cheped-Kenmut is in the Dean lists performed at different positions, and represented on diagonal Star watches in the coffin texts of the epoch Amenemhet as Baktiu-constellation the third decade .

Sesostris III. In his seventh year in office, he initiated the reorganization of the list of deans, in which Cheri-cheped-Kenmut was now in second place. Cheri-cheped-Kenmut is represented iconographically either as a lion-headed Sachmet with a cobra on his head or as a falcon-headed Horus . Another equation is made with the deity "the one with the Horus children".

Cheri-cheped-Kenmut is the dean deity responsible for the second hour in the book of the night . He was especially venerated during the Greco-Roman period in Buto and was included in the sacrificial ritual there.
