Wai Yiu Cheung

Wai Yiu Cheung (* 15. July 1933 in Canton , † before 1998) was a Chinese-American biochemist at St. Jew Children's Research Hospital in Memphis , Tennessee , which for the discovery of calmodulin and his work on the function of calcium known is.

Cheung earned a Masters degree in 1956 from Taichung Provincial Agricultural College (now part of Chung Hsing National University ) in the Republic of China and a bachelor's degree in 1960 from the University of Vermont , Burlington .
