Career

In 2014, Chiang switched to Bundesliga club TTC Hagen in Germany. Due to problems with the visa, however, he was only able to enter after the sixth matchday in November. At this point in time, he had just reached his peak in the world rankings with 47th place, but was subsequently unable to win any of his first eleven singles, so that the visa was not extended in February 2015 and he left the TTC Hagen again.

At the Grand Finals in December 2017, Chiang Hung-Chieh and Chen Chien-An won against the European championship doubles Patrick Franziska and Jonathan Groth and thus advanced to the semi-finals.
