Feel Good ( English "feel good" about) is a song of German DJs Felix Jaehn , in cooperation with the Dutch DJ and music producer Mike Williams . The piece is the eighth single from his debut album I .
Creation and artwork
The song was written jointly by Andrew Bullimore, Nick Gale, Felix Jaehn and Mike Willemsen (Mike Williams). The latter two were also responsible for production and mixing; They also programmed the piece in collaboration with the German songwriter and music producer Michael Geldreich. Geldreich also stood by the two of them as a co-producer. The mastering took place under the direction of the Austrian sound engineer Nikodem Milewski . The single was released under the music labels Polydor / Island , Spinnin 'Records and Virgin Records , published by Duende Songs, MusicAllStars, Sony / ATV Music Publishing , Stellar Songs and Warner / Chappell and distributed by Universal Music Publishing .
On the cover of the maxi single there is only the inscription of the artist name and the song title, in black letters against a white background. In the middle there is a vertical pink stripe. At its lower end, a white “I” is embedded in the middle of the stripe, which stands for Jaehn's debut album of the same name. The same artwork concept can be found on the cover of the debut album as well as a few other single releases. An alternative cover includes a black instead of a pink stripe. The singles published under Spinnin 'Records also contain the company logo in the upper left corner.

The first release of Feel Good occurred across Europe as a download on August 4, 2017. The single was released as a single download and as a 2-track single. In addition to the single version, the 2-track single includes an " Extended Mix " as the B-side. On December 22, 2017, another 2-track single for Feel Good was released as a download. This includes two remixed versions of the song by the Italian music producer Blaneee.

The main vocals for the song are from Tim Schou, the front man of the Danish indie band A Friend in London ; Jaehn and Williams only act as DJs. Music video
The music video for Feel Good premiered on August 17, 2017 on YouTube . You can see mainly clips from various festival appearances of Jaehn as well as his breaks on the beach. Among other things, the video shows scenes from Parookaville , Radio Argovia Fäscht , Sputnik Springbreak and Tomorrowland . At the beginning of the video, Jaehn can be seen on the summit of a cliff before the festival recordings follow. In the middle of the video you can see a short scene of Jaehn who goes into the water on a beach and plays with a soccer ball. At the end of the video, Mike Williams appears briefly at a photo shoot and during a joint appearance at the Parookaville with Jaehn. The total length of the video is 2:45 minutes. As with Cut the Cord and Book of Love , Niklas Duncker again directed. To date, the music video has over 1.1 million views on YouTube (as of March 2018).

The German radio station MDR Jump described Feel Good as a "real club hit" that would make you think of partying nights in Ibiza .

Feel Good combine the best of progressive and tropical house with the vocals, which lead to an optimistic “drop”. The song has both festival potential and radio potential. It is a hit for progressive and tropical house lovers alike.
The German radio station bigFM described Feel Good as an "absolute good mood song" that is perfect for late summer .
In 2018, Kat Bein named Feel Good one of the 20 best “Poolside Songs” for the summer by Billboard magazine .

Feel Good reached position 72 in the single charts in Germany and stayed in the charts for a total of eleven weeks. In addition, the single was placed in the German dance top 20 for 15 weeks and reached its highest ranking with position 13. In Austria the single reached position 66 in the charts in four weeks.
