I Remixed ( English for "remixing") is the first remix album of German DJs Felix Jaehn .
Creation and artwork
With the exception of the three versions of Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) , all tracks on the album were written by Felix Jaehn, in collaboration with changing co-authors. In most cases, the co-authors only appear in isolated works. All of the titles were produced by Jaehn. Sometimes he did the productions alone and sometimes in collaboration with other music producers. Jaehn did not produce the tracks at any fixed location, including pieces in Copenhagen , London or Los Angeles , on the laptop at various airports - and also in Felix's recently completed studio in his home village on the Baltic Sea . I Remixed was released under L'Agentur, Universal Music and Virgin Records .
On the black and white cover of the album - next to the artist name and song title - you can see a red stripe and Jaehn's face. The stripe is arranged in the middle, extends over the entire cover picture and contains the word "Remixed" in white. At the bottom, the album title and artist name are embedded in red letters. Jaehns itself is also arranged in the middle. This is the same portrait as that on the studio album I can be seen. The only difference is that this is black and white and the cover picture for I is colored. The same artwork concept can be found not only on I , but also on a few other single releases. The photography by Jaehn comes from Jens Koch.
Publication and promotion
I Remixed was first published on February 22, 2018 as a download. The album consists of 38 and 40 tracks respectively and includes remix versions, by well-known DJs such as the British Chris Lake and the Dutch Mark Villa , of songs from the previous studio album I and a new studio recording with Keep Your Head Up . In addition to the regular edition with 40 tracks, an album version with 38 tracks is available on iTunes . Two remix versions of Eagle Eyes are missing on this one .

All the lyrics on the album are in English and, with three exceptions, were all written by Jaehn himself, in collaboration with changing co-authors. Musically, the songs are mostly in the area of dance pop . The regular album consists of 40 tracks, 37 of which are author contributions and compositions. Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) is a cover version of the original by American funk band Rufus and Chaka Khan from 1983.
From the previous studio album I , 19 out of 25 songs made it onto the album in various remix versions. Forever Young , I Do , Everyone for Everyone , Voice , Cloud 9 (Felix Jaehn Remix) , Photograph (Felix Jaehn Remix) and Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix) did n't make it to I Remixed . With Keep Your Head Up , a collaboration with French musician Damien N-Drix, a new studio recording made it onto the album.
Felix Jaehn himself only works as an instrumentalist and producer on all pieces. He can only be heard singing in the background in a few exceptions, otherwise the songs are interpreted by the guest singers. Jaehn chooses these according to his personal taste in music. A voice must touch him. If she does that, he trusts that she would hopefully trigger these emotions in many other people as well. Tim Schou, the front man of the Danish indie band A Friend in London , can be heard as a guest singer in Millionaire and is officially listed. He can also be heard as a singer in Like a Riddle and Feel Good , but is not mentioned as an official guest singer.

Single releases
The track Keep Your Head Up was released as the only single so far . The collaboration with the French musician Damien N-Drix appeared as a single download on June 22, 2018. On the same day, a poetry video was also released that was created with the help of the Berlin media agency Hell Studio. The single missed a jump in the official single charts.

Charts and chart placements
Due to the too great similarity to the previous studio album I , the sales in the German-speaking area are added to this, so that I Remixed cannot place itself in the official hit lists as an independent sound carrier. In Germany, thanks to the new edition , I was able to get into the album Top 100 for the first time after two months (place 91). In Austria and Switzerland, however, I Remixed had no chart influence. In addition, I Remixed was able to place itself in the German iTunes daily evaluations for several days and reached its highest listing on June 23, 2018 with position 18.
