Freedom Fighters: The Ray is, along with Vixen, one of two animated web series by the Arrowverse ( DC Comics ). So far, there has been a season of six episodes, all of which premiered online on December 8, 2017 on CW Seed . The series deals with the superhero The Ray , who is called Raymond "Ray" Terrill in his private life and who previously appeared in the cross-series story Crisis on Earth X (2017/18, played by Russell Tovey ; OT : Crisis on Earth-X ).
