biography

Lake was born in Norwich but then moved to Scotland, where he worked as a postman for several years. He released his first single Santiago De Cuba in 2002. He gained fame through his bootleg remixes of Prodigy's song Climbatize , Phat Planet by Leftfield and Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics , which he released under the pseudonym Cristophe D'Abuc .

In May 2009 he released his debut album Crazy . Most recently he had collaborations with Sébastien Léger and Deadmau5 and was also a sought-after remix artist. He remixed Robbie Williams , Kylie Minogue and Madonna , among others .

In 2014 he hit the charts in all countries with the instrumental piece Boneless . Including the upper half of the chart in Germany and Austria. The track was created in collaboration with Steve Aoki and Tujamo. A few months later, the trio began working on a vocal version of the song. As a songwriter they hired the Canadian singer-songwriter Jenson Vaughan , as a singer and rapper they brought Kid Ink into the studio. The remix made it into the singles charts in the USA and Canada.
