Disciples ( proper spelling DISCIPLΞS ) is a British producer trio from South London . They are under contract with the Parlophone and FFRR Records labels . The producer trio achieved particular fame through their collaboration with Calvin Harris and Ina Wroldsen on the song How Deep Is Your Love , which received numerous high chart positions and awards.

Origin and career

Nathan Vincent Duvall and Gavin Koolmon met at Reigate College in Surrey . There they discovered their common interest in hip-hop , R&B and house . Two years later they met Luke McDermott and started working on various projects together.

The trio released their first EP entitled Remedy in 2013 on the independent label New State Music . Other publications followed from 2014 after a contract with fffr Records of Pete Tong was signed.

During the contract negotiations, the trio received a beat. The publisher then suggested hiring Calvin Harris as a co-producer, who agreed. The song How Deep Is Your Love - which contains vocals by the Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen - is the producer team's most successful release to date. This made them famous around the world. Among other things, the song was viewed over 500 million times on YouTube , played 350 million times on Spotify and was in the top ten of the singles charts in 74 countries. It was also awarded platinum in Germany (see also the section on discography).
