Chinese team championship in chess 2014

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2014 Chinese team championship in chess was the tenth edition of this competition. Jiangsu became the champion, relegating defending champion Tianjin to second place. Had risen from the Division B Chengdu and Qingdao Qingwei . Both climbers would have been relegated directly from a sporting point of view, but since only one team exercised their right of promotion for the 2015 season, Chengdu was still relegated as the best relegated team.

For the reported team squads, see the team squad of the Chinese Team Chess Championship 2014 .

mode

The twelve teams competed in a double round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point) decided the placements for defeat).

Dates and venues

The competitions took place from April 12th to 15th, June 3rd to 5th, July 24th to 27th, September 10th to 13th, November 14th to 16th and December 6th to 9th.

Season course

While last year's climbers Chengdu and Qingdao Qingwei had no chance in the relegation battle , the decision in the title battle was not made until the last round.
