Chinese team championship in chess 2007
The 2007 Chinese Chess Team Championship (official name: 2007 Torch Real Estate Chinese Chess League Division A ) was the third edition of this competition. The champion was Shandong Torch Real Estate , who relegated defending champion Beijing Patriots to second place. Qingdao Haiyang Chemical Co. had been promoted from Division B. mode
The ten teams competed in a double round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point) decided the placements for defeat).
Dates and venues
The competitions took place from April 24 to 26, June 4, 20 and 26, July 16 and July 18 to 21, August 14, September 14, October 16, 6 and from November 13th to 15th. The first three rounds were played in Jinan , rounds 8 to 11 in Zhuhai , the last three in Beijing , the remainder decentralized with the participating teams.
Season course
As in the previous year, the defending champions Beijing Patriots and Shandong Torch Real Estate fought head-to-head for the title. The decision was not made until the last round, in which Shandong narrowly defeated Beijing. At the bottom of the table, Wuxi Tiancheng Real Estate and Qingdao Haiyang Chemical Co. were close together for a long time, but with four draws in rounds 13 to 16, Wuxi was able to significantly break away from Qingdao.
