Chinese team championship in chess 2006
The 2006 Chinese Chess Team Championship (official name: 2006 Torch Real Estate Chinese Chess League Division A ) was the second edition of this competition. mode
The ten teams competed in a double round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point) decided the placements for defeat).
Dates and venues
The competitions took place from 4th to 6th and on April 25th, June 13th and 20th, July 25th, August 22nd, September 19 and 26th, October 24th and 31st, April 7th and 14th. and November 21st and December 19th to 21st. The first three rounds were played in Beijing , the last three rounds in Qingdao , the rest of the rounds were played locally by the teams involved.
Season course
The defending champions Beijing Patriots and Shandong Torch Real Estate soon emerged as title candidates . After Shandong won twice in direct comparison, he led the table after the 13th round by three points. In rounds 14 to 17, however, Shandong gave up five points, so that Beijing took over the top of the table before the final round and this in the last Round claimed. The question of relegation had already been decided ahead of time, with Zhejiang Wogan wines already confirmed as relegated two laps before the end .
