Chinese Team Chess Championship 2009
The 2009 Chinese Chess Team Championship (official name: 2009 Torch Real Estate Chinese Chess League Division A ) was the fifth edition of this competition. Champion became the defending champion Shanghai Jianqiao University . Qingdao School and Bank of Qingdao were promoted from Division B, and both had to relegate immediately. mode
The ten teams competed in a double round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point) decided the placements for defeat).
Dates and venues
The competitions took place on May 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th, June 26th, July 6th, from August 1st to 3rd and August 11th, September 13th to 15th and October 13th and from December 11th to 14th. The first four rounds were played in Chengdu , the seventh to ninth in Beijing , rounds 11 to 13 in Hangzhou and the last four in Zhaoyuan (Yantai) . The remaining competitions were played decentrally by the participating teams.
Season course
While in the middle of the season both the top (places 1 and 4 were just one point apart) and the bottom of the table (places 7 and 9 were just one point apart) were still close together, all decisions were made in the second half of the season before the last round. The Shanghai Jianqiao University defended descended during the two previous climbers from Qingdao last year's title.
