use

Chlorethoxyfos is used as an insecticide on grain. The effect is based on the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase . It was launched in 1995 by Amvac under the name Fortress.

For the states of the European Union there are no regulations regarding the use of chlorethoxyfos as a pesticide, it is therefore not permitted. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
