Choi Ji-hyun ( kor. 최지현 ; born March 9, 1994 ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Choi started in 2010 in Taipei at the Junior World Championships and won almost all gold medals in women's competitions and only bronze in the superfinal over 1500 m. In the 2012/13 Short Track World Cup , Choi achieved a podium place with the relay in Calgary when it won gold. At the 2013 World Championships in Debrecen she was fourth with the relay and at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Trentino she won gold with the relay. In the 2018/19 season she won in Salt Lake City with the relay and took third place with the relay and second place over 1000 m in Dresden . She reached tenth place in the World Cup over 1000 m. At the 2019 World Championships in Sofia , she won the gold medal with the relay.
