Noh Ah-reum ( kor. 노 아름 ; * December 18, 1991 ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Noh's first major international event was the 2008 Junior World Championships in Bolzano , where she won the title both in the individual all-around as well as with the relay at the age of 19. In addition, she celebrated victories on three of four individual courses, only over 500 m she remained without a medal and was eliminated in the preliminary run. At the Junior World Championships a year later , which took place in Sherbrooke, Canada , Noh also started successfully by defending her 1500 meter title in front of two compatriots. At the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada , she won the silver medal with the relay. She made her debut in the World Cup in February 2017 in Dresden , which she finished in seventh and two places in the 1500 m. In Minsk she won her first World Cup victory over 1500 m and achieved third place in the relay. She finally reached sixth place in the World Cup over 1500 m. In the 2018/19 season she won the relay in Salt Lake City and also achieved third place over 1000 m there and in Almaty and thus reached eighth place in the World Cup over 1000 m. The following season she won her second individual World Cup victory in Nagoya over 1000 m. She also took second place three times and third place twice. At the Four Continents Championships in Montreal in 2020 , she won the gold medal with the relay.
