Choi Si-young (born May 14, 1991 ) is a South Korean ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Daemyung Killer Whales in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2018 .

Career

Choi Si-young began his career as a hockey player on the Kyung-bok High School team . He later moved to the Yonsei University team . Since 2013 he has been playing for Anyang Halla , one of the three South Korean teams in the Asia League Ice Hockey . In 2015 he was able to win the main round with his team, but then lost the playoff final against the main round third , the Tōhoku Free Blades , with three defeats. In 2016 he was able to win the Asia League with Anyang Halla with a 3-2 final series against the Russian representative HK Sakhalin . He then moved to Daemyung Sangmu , where he played underclass. Since 2018 he has been participating in the Asia League Ice Hockey again with the Daemyung Killer Whales .

International

For South Korea, Cho Min-ho already took part in the U18 World Cup 2009 and the U20 World Cup 2011 in Division II. However , he did not make his debut in the men's national team until the 2015 World Cup , when he and his team were promoted from group B to group A in Division I.
