Mike McNaught

Mike McNaught (* 1938 ) is a British musician ( organ , keyboards , e-piano ) and arranger who was active in jazz as well as in pop and light music.

McNaught played in the second half of the 1960s with the London Jazz Four , which included Brian Moore (bass), Len Clarke (drums) and Ron Forbes (vibraphone). In 1967 he made an album with Lennon / McCartney songs, Take a New Look at the Beatles ( Polydor ); also the album An Elizabethan Songbook ( Columbia 1969); at the same time he worked with Henry Lowther ( Child Song ) and Daryl Runswick ( Atlantic Bridge ). As a musician, composer and arranger he worked in the course of his career a. a. with Ray Dorset , Gerry & the Pacemakers , Harry Nilsson , Randy Crawford , Mungo Jerry , Bonnie Tyler , Patti Boulaye and the comedian group Monty Python . Under his own name, he presented music for children in the 1970s with productions such as Bugs Bunny Comes to London and Spin A Magic Tune .
