Choking Hazard (Original: Choking Hazard ) is a Czech horror comedy from 2004, which was directed by Marek Dobeš . Alternatively, the film is shown with the subtitle Shaun of the Zombies .

In a remote, almost deserted forest hotel, the blind Professor Dr. Reiniš held a weekend seminar with five participants on the subject of "The meaning of life". In the evening, the porn actor Měchura joins the philosophizing group , who initially mistakenly believes he is on a porn shoot. After the misunderstanding resolves itself, Měchura decides to take part in the course.
Meanwhile, buried forest rangers rise up in the neighboring forest , mutate into zombies and hunt the living. First they attack an unsuspecting mushroom picker, later they wander inexorably towards the hotel as a horde, where they decimate the hotel staff in a blood frenzy unnoticed by the seminar participants. A little later, the walking undead storm the assembly room and bite the defenseless professor, while the other course participants manage to escape to other rooms of the hotel in a panic. In this phase, the six remaining people separate.
Since it is initially impossible to escape from the hotel, various zombies patrol in front of the building, people barricade themselves in two groups independently of each other. Tereza holed up with Klára in a room, while Verner, the religious Měchura, the fearful Nedobyl and the sex-hungry Křenovcová find refuge in another room, where there is also a hunter zombie. Shortly before being captured, the living corpse bites Měchura, who dies as a result of the bite wound and is killed a short time later by Verner “to be on the safe side”. Then the two groups flee from their rooms and wander around a little until they bump into each other.
Meanwhile, a few intelligent undead appear, which are vastly different from the easily controllable mindless zombies. For those trapped, a tough fight for survival begins, to which Tereza, her boyfriend Miroslav and Ivana soon fall victim. Only Verner and Klára manage to successfully assert themselves against the multitude of creatures. At the end of the film, all the undead, except for the professor, march back into the forest at dawn, where they dig themselves back into the earth. In the last scene, Verner and Klára can be seen as a couple in front of the hotel.
