Chris Morgan is a screenwriter and film producer . He is best known since 2006 as a screenwriter for the film series The Fast and the Furious .

Life

Chris Morgan's entry into the film business came in 2004 with the script for the film Final Call - If He Hangs Up, She Must Die . In 2006 he wrote the screenplay for the film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift , which marked his entry into the film series The Fast and the Furious . Since then, Morgan has written every script in the series.

In 2009, Morgan co-created the youth series Troop with Max Burnett and Greg Coolidge , of which two seasons were produced. In 2014, Morgan started the series Gang Related , which had poor audience ratings and was discontinued after just one season. Morgan was one of the initiators of the Dark Universe film series with Alex Kurtzman , but both left the project after the first part of The Mummy series failed to achieve the expected success.
