Christa "Christl" Hintermaier (born January 30, 1946 in Bad Reichenhall ) is a former German ski racer .

biography

Hintermaier took part twice in world championships and once in the Olympic Winter Games. At the 1966 World Cup in Portillo , she achieved 13th place in giant slalom and 25th place in slalom. At the 1970 World Championships in Val Gardena she was 16th in the slalom, 18th in the downhill, 23rd in the giant slalom and 13th in the combined ranking. At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , which were also rated as the world championship, she reached 16th place in the slalom.

Her best result in the World Cup was a tenth place in the failing slalom of Oberstaufen on January 3rd, 1970. This was also her only place in the World Cup points. Hintermaier came second four times at the German Alpine Championships. She took third place three times and fourth place five times.
