Christa Rossenbach

Christa Rossenbach (* approx. 1936 in Herne ; † 1992 ) was a German actress and voice actress .

Life

The artist's sister Gert Rossenbach was mainly active on stage as an actress. For example, in 1958/59 she played “Ophelia” in Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Landestheater Kiel under the direction of Hans Christian Rudolph . Further stage stations were Bochum in the early 1960s, the Berlin Schiller Theater in the late 1960s and the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen.

Occasionally Christa Rossenbach also appeared in film and television productions, such as alongside Bernhard Minetti in the series Colomba , alongside Uwe Friedrichsen in Kameraden after August Strindberg and in Herbert Ballmann's television film Eugenie Marlitt or Die Gartenlaube with Cordula Trantow in the title role.

In addition, she worked extensively as a speaker for radio play and dubbing. So she spoke the "Wyoming Knott" in Heinz Dieter Köhler's four-part WDR production of Robert A. Heinlein's Revolt on Luna . As a voice actress, Kate Nelligan as "Mercedes" in The Count of Monte Christo with Richard Chamberlain in the lead role and Susan Howard in the crime series Petrocelli lent her voice .

Christa Rossenbach was married to her colleague Walter Riss . Their son Peter Benedict has also become an actor.
