Christian Bojidar

Christian Bojidar Müller (* 1986 in Braunschweig ) is a German actor .

Life

Christian Bojidar was born to a German father and a Bulgarian mother. His father was an assembly manager in the field, his mother, née Ratscheva, was a teacher. The parents met in Bulgaria and married in 1985. Bojidar spent his childhood, partly due to his father's assignments abroad. a. in Kenya and Guatemala . He attended school mainly in Braunschweig, where he went to grammar school and was elected student representative.

He gained his first stage experience in 2008–2009 at Theater Total in Bochum , when he played the Marquis Posa in Don Karlos . From 2009 to summer 2012 he completed his acting studies at the Charlottenburg Acting School in Berlin . During his training in 2010 he was a dancer in the dance piece Alte Liebe by Britta Pudelko and Stephan Müller at DOCK 11 (Berlin). In 2013, based on 22,000 Facebook comments, he staged the documentary theater performance Trust me in Berlin . I'm an Activist , where he also appeared on stage as an actor.

From the 2013/14 season until 2017 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Schwaben . There he played roles in the classical and modern theater repertoire, a. a. the Templar in Nathan the Wise , the Troll King in Peer Gynt , Neoptolemus in Philoctet by Heiner Müller and Craig in the stripper comedy Ladies Night . He also took part in several children's and youth theater productions. In 2015 he staged the theater evening Welcome to Germany with 26 refugees and asylum seekers from Eritrea , Somalia and Senegal .

Christian Bojidar has also been in front of the camera for a number of film and television productions. In 2012 he played the leading role in the dance film Lafnetscha by the Italian choreographer Veronika Riz . He also had episode roles in the TV series Unter Verdacht (2016, as Bulgarian construction foreman Petko at the side of Samuel Finzi ) and Der Zürich-Krimi (2020, as security guard Sherdan Berashi).

In 2018 he completed his training as a yoga teacher. Christian Bojidar lives in Berlin .
