Christian Brüls (born September 30, 1988 in Malmedy ) is a Belgian football player .

Career

Christian Brüls, who comes from Amel in the German-speaking Community of Belgium , played for KFC Grün-Weiß Amel for ten years in his youth, before moving to the youth department of KAS Eupen for three years . He started his professional career in 2005 at the East Belgian club playing in the 2nd division , before moving to MVV Maastricht in the Dutch Eerste Divisie , the country's second division, three years later . In 2010 he finally moved to KVC Westerlo in the 1st division of Belgium, where Brüls played one season before moving to KAA Gent within the league in 2011 . In 2013 he was awarded to OGC Nice in France for a year . Via Stade Rennes and Standard Lüttich , Christian Brüls switched back to his training club KAS Eupen in January 2017 and only six months later to the Cypriot club Paphos FC in the First Division . He was without a club in the first half of the 2018/19 season before Brüls rejoined KVC Westerlo during the winter break. After the 2018/19 season, a contract extension until summer 2021 was agreed.
