Christian Cappek (born July 25, 1990 in Augsburg ) is a former German soccer player . The center forward was most recently under contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden .

Career

Cappek played for SV Mering from the age of four to eleven . He then played for two years for FC Augsburg and then for five years for TSV 1860 Munich . His adult career began at Wacker Burghausen , where he was under contract from 2008 to 2011 and was regularly employed. From 2011 Cappek played for the second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue . On November 30, 2012, his contract there was prematurely terminated by mutual agreement. At the end of January 2013, Cappek signed a contract with regional league club FC Augsburg II until the end of the 2012/13 season and thus returned to his hometown. After half a year he left the club and joined Kickers Offenbach . With the Offenbach team he became regional league champion in 2014/15 and failed in the promotion games to the 3rd division at 1. FC Magdeburg . During the summer break for the 2015/16 season, Cappek changed clubs to Chemnitzer FC in the 3rd division . After only eleven missions without scoring, he moved to league competitor SV Wehen Wiesbaden on January 1, 2016 .

After undergoing an operation on the patellar tendon in his left knee for the third time in March 2017 , he announced the end of his career. It was no longer used in the 2016/17 season . From 2017 to 2019 Cappek was cotrainer and team manager at his home club SV Mering. At the same time, he completed retraining as an industrial clerk at the sportswear manufacturer Schöffel in Schwabmünchen and completed a dual course of study at the IST University of Management .
