Christian Gottlieb Buder (born October 29, 1693 in Kittlitz ; † December 9, 1763 ) was a German lawyer , historian and librarian .

Christian Gottlieb Buder studied first in Leipzig and then in Jena , where he was a student of Burkhard Gotthelf Struve . He stayed in Jena, became the university's librarian in 1722, associate professor in 1730 and full professor of law four years later. In 1738 he received the professorship of constitutional and feudal law and at the same time of history. He later bequeathed his valuable book collection to the university.
