Christian Grimm (born February 4, 1987 in Frankenthal ) is a German football player . He has been playing for VfR Mannheim since 2019 .

Athletic career

Grimm learned the sport of football at VfR Frankenthal . He was soon discovered and accepted by 1. FC Kaiserslautern . There he played until 2003. In the following four years he ran for three other Palatinate clubs before the Frankenthaler was accepted into the second team of FSV Mainz 05 at the beginning of 2008 . In the first year, Grimm contributed to Mainz's promotion to the Regionalliga West . Three more seasons followed for the FSV amateur team. Grimm scored 14 goals in 95 games. In the summer of 2011, Grimm moved to league rivals SV Elversberg . With the sports association, he made it to the 3rd division in the 2012/13 season . He prepared the decisive goal for the promotion in the second leg of the two promotion games against the second team of TSV 1860 Munich . For the 2014/15 season he moved to FC 08 Homburg in the Regionalliga Südwest . In summer 2015 he joined the league competitor FK Pirmasens and played over 100 games in the regional and major leagues.

For the 2019/20 season, he moved to the association league club VfR Mannheim .
