Christian Grimm (lawyer)

Christian Grimm (born February 6, 1949 in Triftern ) is a German lawyer and writer .

Life

Christian Grimm was born in Triftern in Lower Bavaria in 1949. In 1968 he made his Abitur at the grammar school parish churches . From 1968 to 1970 he did his military service in Berchtesgaden . He studied law and philosophy from 1970 to 1976 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and at the University of Konstanz . After the legal state exams in 1975 and 1978, he was a research assistant at Ekkehart Stein at the chair for public law at the University of Konstanz. With the dissertation “General conscription and human dignity” he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD . 1980 to 1986 he worked as a lawyer for the state capital Munich. In 1986 he received a professorship for agricultural and environmental law at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences , which he held until 2013.

Grimm is a member of the German Society for Agricultural Law (DGAR), the Austrian Society for Agricultural Law (ÖGAR), the Free German Association of Authors (FDA) and the Modern Studio Freising cultural association.

Christian Grimm lives and works in Freising and Avacelli, Italy .
