Christian "Pokerbeats" Huber (born December 29, 1984 in Regensburg ) is a German author , composer , music producer and podcaster. He works as a composer and book author and has written numerous comedy programs and contributions for radio and television shows (e.g. for Neo Magazin Royale on ZDF). His columns have appeared in VICE News , ICON and in the newspaper DIE WELT .

Pieces of music composed by Huber reached high chart positions in various countries and have been awarded platinum several times.

Life

Born in Regensburg, Huber grew up in Schwandorf , where he graduated from the Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Gymnasium in 2004. After abandoning his studies at the University of Regensburg and doing a traineeship at the Regensburg radio station , he moved to Berlin at the end of 2010 . Here he lived as an author and composer and worked a. a. with the Australian hip-hop band Hilltop Hoods , the German rappers Casper , Farid Bang and KC Rebell and the American rapper Kool G Rap . Christian Huber has lived in Cologne since 2016.

Christian Huber has been active on Twitter under the name “Pokerbeats” since 2009 , where he is followed by almost 50,000 users.
