Christian Konrad Jakob Dassel

Christian Konrad Jakob Dassel (born March 16, 1768 in Harxbüttel , † January 8, 1845 in Stadthagen ) was a German Protestant clergyman and educator.

After primary school he came to the orphanage in Halle (Saale) (today Francke Foundations ) on the initiative of the local preacher . From 1788 he studied theology at the University of Halle . On the recommendation of August Hermann Niemeyer , he became a teacher in Hamburg-Hamm in 1791 at the educational institution founded there by Caroline Rudolphi and later relocated to Heidelberg and continued by Emilie Heins , and three years later a teacher at the Hoftöchterschule in Hanover . In 1796 he became a preacher at Ricklingen Castle , in 1800 in Hohenbostel (Barsinghausen) and in 1806 in Stadthagen. He wrote numerous works on pedagogical and theological topics.
