Career

After the OFC was relegated to the third division, Müller moved to the second division club FC Augsburg for the 2008/09 season . After a year and 21 league appearances for the Swabians, he left the club in the summer break of 2009 and switched to league rivals FSV Frankfurt . There he tore a cruciate ligament in the first league game against MSV Duisburg and was out for a long time. For the second half of the 2009/10 season he reported back and was under coach Hans-Jürgen Boysen regular player in the right-back position, which he stayed in the following season.

After his contract expired in the summer of 2011, Müller left the club and moved to RB Leipzig in the Regionalliga Nord. There he signed a contract until 2013. In the 2011/12 season, Müller took third place in the table with Leipzig. On matchday 20 he scored his only goal for RB - it was 4-0 in an 8-2 home win against SV Wilhelmshaven . In the 2012/13 season he won the championship with the team in the Regionalliga Nordost, and after two promotion games against Sportfreunde Lotte , he was promoted to the 3rd division. In the first half of the following third division season, Müller came on ten missions. In the winter training camp, Müller was seriously injured - he dislocated his left knee and tore his anterior and posterior cruciate ligament. With the injury, Müller was out for the rest of the season and the entire next season. In 2014 he ended his career as an active soccer player at RB Leipzig.
