Christian Mauersberger (born April 20, 1995 in Bad Soden-Salmünster ) is a German football player .

Athletic career

youth

Mauersberger learned to play football at VfB Annaberg 09 . In 2007 he was discovered by Chemnitzer FC , for which he played from then on. The DFB soon became aware of him. He played friendly matches for the U-15 , U-17 and U-18 national teams . Hailed as a great youth talent in Chemnitz, Mauersberger helped the U-19 team to get promoted to the U-19 Bundesliga . In the two relegation games against the selection of TSV Havelse , which ended in a total of 3: 1 for Chemnitz, he was able to book two templates for himself. In the following season , Mauersberger met four times in 24 U-19 Bundesliga games.

Chemnitzer FC

After the relegation of the U-19 team, Mauersberger was included in the professional squad of the Himmelblauen for the 2013/14 season .

FC Schalke 04

For the 2015/2016 season , Mauersberger changes to FC Schalke 04 , for whom he is active in the second team in the Regionalliga West .

FSV Zwickau

For the 2017/18 season, Mauersberger signed a one-year contract with the FSV Zwickau with an option for another year.

In July 2018, Mauersberger announced the temporary end of his career.

1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen

After a two-month break from football, Mauersberger has been in the squad of the sixth division club 1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen since September 2018 . In the 2018/19 season, Rielasingen-Arlen was promoted to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg .

SGV Freiberg

After two years in Rielasingen-Arlen, Mauersberger switched to league competitor SGV Freiberg for the 2020/21 season . At the same time he studies theology at the Bibelstudienkolleg in Ostfildern .
