Christian Meyer (born October 22, 1977 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .
Meyer started from 1993 in Ski Jumping Continental Cup before the first time after a decent showing there in the 1996/97 season on 8 February 1997 with the ski flying World Cup at Kulm jumping in the Ski Jumping World Cup denied. He managed to win World Cup points in both competitions with 28th and 30th place. In the following years he also managed to win World Cup points several times. His most successful season in 1998/99 , he finished 31st in the overall World Cup ranking. He was able to achieve the best individual result of his career in the World Cup on January 16, 1999 in Zakopane . At the Norwegian Championship in Raufoss in 1999 he also won silver on the normal hill. On January 31, 1999, Meyer played his last World Cup competition in Willingen and then switched back exclusively to the Continental Cup.
At the Norwegian Championship in Høydalsmo in 2003 he won the gold medal in team jumping together with Håvard Lie , Petter Tande and Morten Solem . After the 2003/04 season , Meyer ended his active ski jumping career. Since May 1, 2006 he has been assistant coach of the junior national team.
Meyer has been in a relationship with the Norwegian national handball player Elisabeth Hilmo since 1995 . The couple married in 2011 and have two children together.
