Christian Pätzold
Christian Pätzold (born April 24, 1944 in Tübingen ) is a German actor .
Christian Pätzold grew up in Nagold in the Black Forest. After studying German and Romance languages in Tübingen and the Free University of Berlin , he began training as an actor in Berlin . He also played the violin and viola in the SFB dance orchestra and in the Theater des Westens .
Pätzold celebrated his first stage successes from 1968 at the Berlin Schaubühne . After initial success in Berlin, Pätzold was seen on many German and Austrian stages.
From 2009 to 2019 Pätzold regularly played the role of Friedemann Sonntag in the German TV series SOKO Stuttgart . He has also appeared in several Tatort films and Ein Fall für Zwei episodes as well as in cinema productions.
