Career
Christian Pouga began his career in youth with his hometown club Avenir Douala, until he moved to Dalian Shide in the People's Republic of China in 2001 . In 2003 he moved to the professional team of the Chinese club, but he did not play a single game there. From 2004 to 2006 he played for league rivals Shanghai United , where he was also without use. In 2006 he went to Switzerland for FC Zurich , but he could not assert himself there either and only played nine games and scored one goal. In 2007 he moved to FC Aarau on a free transfer . Pouga signed a six-month contract with an option for two more years. However, the option was not taken. In the 2007/2008 season he played for AC Bellinzona . A year later he moved to Sevilla FC . With 18 goals in the season, Pouga played a key role in the rise of the «Granata».
In the 2009/10 season he played on loan for the Portuguese club Leixões SC . In summer 2010 he moved to FC Vaslui in the Romanian League 1 . There he and his team finished the 2010/11 season in third place. He then returned to Marítimo Funchal in Portugal. In Funchal he mostly came on short assignments and was unable to assert himself as a regular.
For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Oud-Heverlee Löwen . A year later he was hired by the Turkish second division team Ankaraspor . His contract with this club was dissolved again in September 2013. In mid-2014 he was signed by the Portuguese first division team Boavista Porto . There he came on nine missions and was often not in the squad. At the beginning of 2016, he dissolved his contract in Porto and was again without a club for a year. At the end of January 2017, the Maltese first division club Pembroke Athleta signed him . There he was used twice and ended the 2016/17 season with his team in last place.
After another six months without a club, he joined the French amateur club SA Mamertins in February 2018.
