Christian Schlechtweg (born January 7, 1976 ) is a German foil fencer . The right-hander fights for SC Berlin , his coach is Peter Ulbricht .
successes
Badly the greatest international success was the 2007 runner-up in Saint Petersburg . The other team members were Benjamin Kleibrink , Peter Joppich and Dominik Behr . Further successes with the men's national floret team included fourth place at the 2001 World Championships in Nîmes and two titles at the 2001 and 2007 European Championships .
In the individual, his greatest international success was a seventh place at the 2001 World Championships. In the cadet and junior division , he was junior world champion in Tournai in 1996 and vice European cadet champion in 1994. In 2000 he won the world cup tournament in Copenhagen , several other world cup medals and is three-time German runner-up.
